What this section is for — the problems we run into in club racing, and how we try to solve them.
Every race weekend hands you a list of problems. Some are on the car, some are in the data, and some are in the driver’s seat. Garage Talk is where we work through them in the open.
Here’s what we plan to write about:
- Reading the data. What the logger is actually telling you, and how to turn a pile of channels into one thing to change next session.
- Setup. Changes we’ve tried, what they did, and what we’d do differently.
- The club racing learning curve. Licensing, tech inspection, budgets, and the things nobody tells you in your first season.
- Racecraft. Starts, traffic, and racing your best friend for the same position.
